What is the RCR | 313?

RCR = Run Carry Ruck.

313 = The distances of each event.

RUN

You'll run for 3 miles...

(unloaded)

CARRY

then farmer carry for 1 mile...

(men: 25lb ea hand | women: 20lb ea hand)

RUCK

and finish with a 3-mile ruck.

(men: 50 lb total | women: 40 lb total)

✔️ Weight Classes:

  • Men: under 200 lbs | over 200 lbs
  • Women: under 150 lbs | over 150 lbs

  • Why the weights don’t change by class:

  • Heavier folks carry less relative body weight,
  • but lighter folks (typically) move faster on the run
  • Everyone struggles somewhere :-)

✔️ How it works:

  • The run is unloaded
  • You grab your plates after the run for the carry
  • You must put those same plates in your ruck for the final leg (no pre-loaded bags)
  • 🏆 Top 3 finishers in each weight class
  • 🏆 Overall fastest male & fastest female
